My special area of interest is Film and Screen Studies, and I wish to focus on this during my undergraduate time at LCC. My main motivation is actually the same as the reason why I choose this subject. It is linked to my interest and hobby that I have had since I was young and have continued till now. (Of course, there is also a big reason for my pure love of the UK). I used to read and look at all the resources available around me and then do reflective writing afterwards. From the beginning of prose, to film reviews, to fan writing, fiction and film screenwriting, I have had a good relationship with writing since I was in a position to think independently. I felt like my mind is being made for full of imagination and critical thinking, at least I never lost joy or inspiration in the process. And also another principal factor, in China, Film is currently an inadequately developed academic field.
In addition to my academic studies, two things are distinguished in terms of work experience and extracurricular activities. First of all, I participated in the fun-production of two books about Supernatural. In one of them, I was the leader (the main urge/behind the scenes) and the author of the article. I designed the cover and the layout of the inside pages, and led my friends to create the book together. Finally, I contacted the merchant and sold the book by myself, and made a profit of about 10,000 RMB for our team. As of last year, my various articles had accumulated more than 200,000 page views on a creative platform called Lofter in China (It is no longer updated for some reason). Except these writing experiences, I also participated in a Localization group named “Dongjing”(东镜), which is known as voluntary organized and non-profits. The produced by our Chinesization group can be discovered in almost any app that can be listed on comics in China. The main translation content is all the Marvel and DC Universe comics, and I am currently engaged in the translation of the X-Men.
My strong background in Film and Screen Studies makes me well prepared to seek out a degree in a quality undergraduate program. And if I ‘m lucky enough to be allocated to this subject, I would like to focus on screenwriting in the future. Seize the day, I’ve been writing novels, as well writing a series of independent animated film, and I hope to have the opportunity to shoot them in the future. But if I look ahead, while completed my undergraduate career excellently in LCC, I will choose Screenwriting without any hesitation in my future postgraduate study, so it will enable me to stay on campus for further study, as to acquire more knowledge about this aspect and make more reliable teachers and friends.
Water pollution is one of the most concerning challenges in the world today. It has threatened the lives of animals on land and water and humans who depend on the polluted water sources (Douglas, 2010). For instance, the increasing water pollution trend has led to the extinction of native species of fish. One of the reasons contributing to this problem is the dumping of wastewater directly into the river by the textile industries (Image 1). In other words, people will act selfishly to manufacture their clothes and fashion products but will not take responsibility for causing harm to the environment (Douglas, 2010). The film producer Martin Boudot created a documentary called “The World Most Polluted River” in 2020 to present how human beings through five hundred textile industries have polluted the Citarum River systematically (Martin, 2020). Additionally, the producer reveals the identity of people and animals to demonstrate how animals suffer from the impacts of water pollution, especially from the textile industries. This essay will firstly analyze how Martin Boudot visualizes the issue of water pollution. It will then explain the intensity of the water pollution crisis based on the setting of the film and demonstrate measures that can be implemented to address the pollution issue and advocate for sustainable living.
The film focuses on the areas around the highly polluted Citarum River in Indonesia. It focuses on plastic and mainly chemical pollution by textile factories such as H&M that dump untreated wastewater into the river (Martin, 2020; Image 1). The film exposes the effects of the contaminated water on the local people who have been compelled by circumstances to depend on the river’s water for survival. They use it for drinking, bathing, washing utensils, irrigation, and any other activities requiring water use. According to Douglas (2010), water pollution problems occur because communities feel no responsibility to act and lack knowledge maintenance of the water systems. It is not because they have inadequate technology. The film also focuses on the types of chemicals found in the water, and the producer takes samples for chemical testing. The expose shows the results found about the chemicals that existed in the water were alarming. The laboratory results were forwarded to various authorities that dealt with environmental conservation in the government. The film shows how fish and other animals have died in the water after being exposed to high concentrations of chemicals such as Lead and Mercury (Martin, 2020).
The movie was filmed in 2020 and provides current reports on the state of pollution of the Citarum River, located in Indonesia. The government policies on wastewater regulations were exposed as weak and poorly implemented. Additionally, the government had not included Lead in its list of prohibited chemicals despite the dangers it posed to its residents. According to Belinawati et al. (2018), the Citarum Bestari Program is the policy put in place by the West Java Government to handle Citarum challenges. The environmental department was not aware of the urgency in the state of pollution of River Citarum. The 3 million residents of Java and Bali depend on the water for use at home. However, it has caused a health crisis associated with the consumption of the chemically polluted Citarum River’s water. Children, in particular, have been affected the most, leading to 200,000 deaths annually (Owa, 2014). The people mainly practice agriculture, such as rice farming. Fishing in the river has ceased after the fish died. Lipscomb and Mobarak (2011) explain that for every kilometer downstream of a polluted river, Biochemical oxygen demand increases by 1.5 to 3%. Therefore, water pollution is a significant problem in the area thereby prompting the film’s theme to establish whether the Citarum can still be saved (Image 2).
The film analyzes the people affected by chemical pollution from River Citarum. It focuses on the effects of chemical exposure on the health of the residents, who depend on the water for domestic use. Zeitoun et al. (2014) affirms that both the surface and groundwater sources can become contaminated with different contaminants such as toxic trace metals. Additionally, the film majors on the textile factories that release untreated chemical waste into the water, the type of chemicals they release, their health effects, and the efforts they have put in place to address the situation. The analysis indicated that the chemical found were Lead, Mercury, Chromium, Assonates, Nitrates, Ammonium, and Chlorides (Martin, 2020; Image 3). For instance, one of the reports stated that Lead concentration on the paddy plants was 29.03 milligram per kilogram while the recommended standard was 0.25 milligram per kilogram (Kumar and Lee, 2012). This amount of Lead exposure affects the nervous system of those who consume it. According to Schwarzenbach et al. (2010), chemical pollution is caused by toxic metalloids, metals, and synthetic organic chemicals. Therefore, it proves why the residents around the area were often sick with chest problems and diarrhea. The government and textile regulation bodies avoided addressing the issue in fear of losing the textile factory investors and closing the factories.
In conclusion, the media has their investigative methods to highlight the problem of pollution to the general public. In Martin Boudot’s documentary “The World Most Polluted River,” the producer uses an investigative approach to analyze the waters of River Citarum, and he exposes the high levels of chemical pollution textile factories have caused in the river. He uses sample participants to indicate the health effects of the chemical exposure on water sources used by human beings and animals. The film set is based on the river Citarum, some textile factories near it, and targeted in the film. It also includes the regulatory bodies supposed to account for the pollution. Water pollution can be addressed by introducing stricter regulatory frameworks that will prompt textile industries to install effective water treatment plants to reduce the dumping of polluted wastewater (Image 1). My final thought is that the treatment technologies such as coagulation, dialysis, membrane process, foam flotation, adsorption, and photocatalytic degradation can help remove toxic waste. Furthermore, the introduction of environmental education can help curb water pollution. The government should strengthen the environmental regulatory bodies to increase the rates of chemical testing and reporting for further legal action in case of pollution.

— The conception of the early shooting method of the work
After the investigation and the preliminary estimated shooting, I have made a certain decision on the production direction of my works. As can be seen from the Primary Research, I conceived my idea and tried to make it for the first time to try it out. After my research, I wanted to learn how to imitate Tony’s shooting and delivery techniques. After writing a short script, I planned to implement the shooting, but because my idea was not valid in the final presentation, the plan was cancelled.
Then I reimagined my approach to projection. I put the most began to consider to divert the subject into a and face similar items, but because it in every dialogue when need to switch the picture, it is not convenient for me, and on the top, because the outbreak reason I can’t borrow so much one-time projector, so I didn’t use this idea.
Then I rethought it with the resources I had at my disposal (a basic studio, a camera, curtains and lights). I still extended Tony’s idea, but this time I used the actors themselves, I used a black curtain and cut out three holes in it, and had the actors put their heads through the holes to achieve the same effect. I used lights on the left and right and above the heads of the actors to make the ambient light stand out and “project”.

Because I have been making works about social issues since I was a student in production, so this time I will do the same. However, before the final shooting, I made an in-depth study of Mary’s research. In order to improve my ability to read pictures and write stories, I researched two artists, Ibaridnex Perello and Eugene Smith.
Then, in order to extend this investigation, I edited a short story based on a screenshot of a Russian film Նռան գու both film, and shot again one of the stories of Demonstration, so as to exercise my story design and writing ability.

— A written summary of the production process about idea development
In the Transform project, I produced a video clip in the form of a 3-minute ‘fake’ trailer, named When Actors Don’t Learn Their Lines. The length of time before the clip was 11 minutes and 34 seconds, it is a reversal story in which vampires, shixuegui play a lie detector at a ghost’s house. The project is positioned as an all-age comedy, and in doing so it is a lighthearted way of expressing the theme of how to find one’s true identity in this overly serious and perfection-seeking society.
The decision on the project was a bit of a surprise, as I came up with the idea after reflecting on it when I didn’t get it done the first time. The exploration of this project shows a form of expression that is completely different from the society or the opposite of today’s large and rigorous photography industry. I chose a comedy from Anwar Jibaw original short video called Lie Detector (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SK1I0V6U5c), he is my attention for a long time a perfect short video screenwriter and photographer, it was originally a comedy video about three people playing a lie detector test together. Then I did a whole new screenwriting and choreography, but the main framework was still based on the story.
The whole work combines my understanding of all research with my perspective on this social phenomenon, which is a good demonstration of my screenwriting ability. In the final before filming, I had a couple of pre-production, after the failure to meet the different categories of I aware of the cause of failure – I too much focus and the visual effects for the pursuit of perfection, rather than our current situation, now we are still in the outbreak period so can’t rent to some special facilities and equipment.
This is my last the key factors to determine works, at the same time also remind me of the reflection in a social phenomenon, and this kind of social phenomenon is closely related to as college students we — we just entering, or the social society, because the family and social competition pressure forced into the work of the campaign, and because of our independence and our need for money, we have to cherish every opportunity we get to work, and this leads to working overtime even if we don’t like it in some cases, and not really showing our hearts when dealing with employees, because the whole environment is so competitive. This is a common impression among most members of society, especially among the middle classes. In such a social environment, we gradually mechanically work, so that we also gradually forget the real dream and original intention of everything when we entered the society.
As for how to reflect this, I deliberately used a completely loose form of shooting and production to present this story, in order to contrast with the social environment I mentioned before which was too strict and rigorous in terms of requirements and atmosphere. I didn’t use any professional equipment, and I didn’t let the actors learn their lines. Instead, I had them shoot “pseudo-docu-style” as soon as they got the script, which allowed me to most effectively collect the moments when they went wrong and their honest reactions to it. It also simulated a real work environment, where I was the boss checking on their performance and they were the new hires coming in for an interview, but the only difference was that the environment was completely relaxed.
At this time, I will work through this kind of means to make common sense to make people laugh comedy video, to rise to a deeper thinking, after to make people laugh, to reflect on and attention now because of the employment pressure lead to employees on the job too nervous, the pursue is perfect, so as to forget their first job search step into society of the social phenomenon.
And about how my work is relevant to Transform, my story script was conducted according to the questions and dialogue, and the main dialogue will be around two blood for a living of human beings, between them the questions and answer constantly influence the development of the whole story, the end of the story was constantly Transform, until a certain point in time, The climax slows down and then ends.
In the production process, I mainly investigated three people, Tony Oursler, Jan Svankmajer and Mary Ellen Mark. I will learn to imitate the shooting method of Tony. He likes to project the head or facial features of the subject on some objects after shooting. So I would change the way in which I used to shoot the projection, and would shoot the actors’ heads individually and put them on a black background board. Then I combined Jan’s shooting style and used this quirky but thought-provoking production style in my short film. Let a seemingly simple and funny movie go deep into some social issues that need to be discussed. Mary, on the other hand, trained my ability to write stories by looking at pictures from the side, which made me more prepared for future script writing.

Previous preparation
I chose an original short video called Lie Detector from Anwar Jibaw. It is from one of Anwar’s series and mainly tells about interesting things that happen when people use the Lie Detector game.
I first conducted a research on it, regarding its length, genre and story introduction. After determining the final shooting theme, I planned the props I needed to buy, summarized my ideas and drew some brief scene designs.
But because in the end, I don’t want to copy all Anwar idea, more concise and want my production to more apt my ideas, so later I didn’t use the original scene design and the actor’s clothing, but only in the background using the black cloth and give one of the actors in the early stage of the dialogue using the mask, And in it, when talking about drinking blood, he used a glass and paint.
Script writing revised and finalized
After I had a general idea of the story, I began to write the script. I took Anwar’s story and expanded and rewrote it independently. I replaced the protagonists of the story with three non-human creatures, a vampire, a shixuegui and a ghost.
The whole story is that the vampire and Shixuegui come to the ghost’s home, and after a bit of fun, they start to play a human-made lie detector game. Aside from the mere ghost of Rachel, Lesley and Esther are clearly on their own. After they confirm the lie detector is real, Lesley and Esther start asking questions outside the card, which apparently heighten the tension between them about what they will do before things get to the worst. Where will their questions lead the whole thing?

Full story shooting
In the studio I rented, I invited my classmates to assist me in this shooting. The session lasted about half the afternoon, and we used some basic studio props such as lights, rolling curtains, and mobile phones.
We initially discussed about props, because I wanted to show artistic expression techniques similar to Tony’s, so we could not meet the props requirements of using tables and wearing lie-detector headsets under the circumstance of insufficient resources, and at the same time make such an expression possible. So we ended up discarding all the props we were supposed to be doing and just giving verbal descriptions. But it also strikes me as more like going to a job interview for a script with nothing but a script to offer. This is more relevant to my theme.
The editing work
At that time, we were shooting in different areas, and we roughly divided the whole story into six parts for shooting. After finishing, I went back home and first edited these clips into a complete video with subtitles and some music. Because I needed to edit, I didn’t pay special attention to the sound processing of each part during this process, but I wanted to leave it for editing.
And before the final cut, I had the idea in the book. What I wanted to show was something like a trailer, but it was a fake version. In this, there is a “third party”, who is more like a voyeur and recorder of the whole event, and you can see its evaluation of the story through the middle lines. As for the character’s setting, the screen is slightly blotted out during any dialogue about him, indicating that his actions are conducted in secret.
And at the end, a hasty phone ring indicates that voyeurism has been detected, and the chronicler is forced to withdraw, and then the final word indicates the time for people to go and meet it, which corresponds to the release time of the film. So, you can see that maybe the trailer is actually something that the voyeur recorded, like the end of time or a message from an expert who was being watched on some secret mission.
What it looks like before the video clip

I put the video clip into the new clipboard, and then I insert the text, which is what the recorder said. After doing this, I was the first to deal with the over-loud background music that had been inserted earlier.
I separate the video from the audio through processing.They were then given the appropriate volume.
In the end, I searched and inserted the special sound of the phone ringing, processed part of the last video, and added the photos and introductions of my classmates and me at the end.

On this occasion, my entire production process was full of reflection. Taken me through the video to early to reflect on the success and failure and got my final production idea, and then on the investigation of the artist’s reflection, let me continue to improve my shooting way, until you reach a satisfactory result, finally in editing video is my reflection, let each part of the video are good performance, is not only a picture and it is the volume.
For the evaluation of this work, I have tried my best with limited resources, so I am satisfied with this result. But if I had the chance to do it again, I would have chosen some better facilities and locations to shoot in, and then tried some more areas that I had not touched before.

Since my video was meant to be a “trailer,” I wanted it to be shown as a movie.Such an idea can also reflect my theme. I don’t want too many complicated decorations. I just have a clear, clear and simple idea just like everyone who has just entered the society.
Loving Vincent (Loving Vincent 12/6, 2017) created a new form of telling a story in oil paintings. The film uses an undelivered letter to link Van Gogh’s last six weeks with the three most important figures in his life, taking the audience back to Europe at the end of the 19th century and accompanying Van Gogh to the end of his life.
The film, which took the team seven years to make. Is based on more than 800 letters Van Gogh left behind. Most of the 800 letters were sent by Van Gogh to his brother Theo. The creative team has created more than 1000 oil paintings in more than 3 years from 125 painters from 15 countries around the world. After the film was finished, the team spent another year turning static images into motion, so every second of the film was made of 12 oil paintings, and more than 65,000 work was made in total. In a story sense, the main story is based on the protagonist’s search for the truth of Van Gogh’s death. But in fact, the whole story is traced back through one after another people who have been in contact with Van Gogh. At this point, with the exception of Van Gogh’s brother, no one in Van Gogh’s life had the greatest influence on his life trajectory or painting than Gauguin. Vincent van Gogh, who was born on March 30, 1853, in Gelutzin-Delt, Netherlands, was one of the most famous post-impressionist artists for whom color was the main symbol of expression. (The Van Gogh Gallery, 2018) His best works were all created in less than three years, and this technique is particularly evident in his Sunflower series, in which van Gogh’s brush strokes, symbolism and intense colors, surface tension, and the movement and vibration of forms and lines become more and more passionate.
To the layman, Vincent was always known as a sunflower painter. Like other painters of the time, Vincent painted still lives of flowers. But after practising different flowers, he chose a particular variety: sunflowers. His peers thought sunflowers might be a little rough and indecent. But that’s what Vincent liked. He liked to paint flowers that had already produced seed.
The Sunflower series began in the summer of 1888, when Van Gogh asked a group of painters to view his salon, but only Paul Gauguin, Van Gogh’s Parisian friend, agreed to come. In August of the same year, for Gauguin’s arrival, he painted his first Sunflowers. He had intended to paint a dozen sunflowers to decorate his rented cottage in Arles for Gauguin’s arrival, but had barely finished painting four when they arrived. Later, with Gauguin’s praise and encouragement, and their brief two-month living together, Van Gogh painted his fifth sunflower. However, shortly after that, the two artists started a quarrel due to the conflict of artistic concepts. Gauguin, who panicked and left because of Van Gogh’s extreme reaction. Became a kind of guilt and yearning in Van Gogh’s heart, this such emotion made him paint the sixth sunflower in January 1889, but he never met Gauguin again. This sixth painting “Sunflower” also became Van Gogh and Gauguin’s friendship sacrifice. The expectation of friendship was too strong, and he placed too much importance on the acquired friendship, so when he was let down by the other side, the resulting pain was fatal to Van Gogh. Van Gogh never recovered from the loss of Gauguin, and two years later, in 1890, he put down his paintbrush, picked up a pistol and took his own life at the age of 37. (‘Loving Vincent’, 2017)
As Van Gogh’s the most famous series and also the most dazzling part in the film, Sunflower breaks the old rules by combining strong contrasting colors and heavy color blocks seamlessly, creating a new contrasting color system, which has a profound impact on the development of art in the future. In yellow and orange, petals and stems are outlined with delicate strokes of green and blue, as is the signature and the center of a flower. The strong color points on the grains have an eye-catching effect, and the delicate strokes try to show the fullness of the disk and the curvaceous texture. And it was, as Gauguin said, “completely Vincent.” (Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam, 2018)
As the story ferments, the image of Van Gogh, who is difficult to be recognized by the world and is particularly lonely, is slowly exposed. Although the interview type multiple points of view of technique will make film to a certain extent. But it is also in this presentation that the film makes a well-known true event, which is adapted into something more watchable. At the end of the film, in this Starry Night on the Rhone part, Van Gogh is compared to a beautiful starry night. Loving Vincent is mournful but not distressing. It leads the audience into a lonely soul and sees the colorful world under Van Gogh’s pen.
Loving Vincent, as a film about Van Gogh’s story, is actually slightly flawed in its plot. It is not one of the famous in many films that have told the story of Van Gogh’s life. But this film is very special to the team in a different way to show us Van Gogh’s world. The film contains most of Van Gogh’s paintings, various scenes of Van Gogh’s life, and dribs and draws about him. Like when you see the train through the wheat field, when you see Van Gogh’s sky, belong to his room, night view, outdoor cafe, when you see all of these pictures, even though as an outsider, as a person only know Van Gogh’s sunflower, you will still have a kind of art, born from the heart of the moved. And this is what Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings can resonate with us.

Tony Oursler
For the research of the shooting presentation.To project a photograph onto a real object, usually a person’s features or head.
Reference: I wanted to film the final character’s head separately. However, considering the difficulty in finding reference objects and the inability to borrow such work props, the way of projection was changed to let the head be shot.alone, and then the whole background board was made of black cloth.
Tony, a multimedia artist born in the 1950s, was not destined to be a victim of the technological explosion. On the contrary, his achievements in the field of multimedia have provided a new outlet for the second generation of multimedia artists. Tony’s creations include videos, installations, sculptures and paintings.
Tony’s early videos absorbed The popular pop art of The time in The United States and developed a strong personal style (The Lenner (1980) and Evol (1984)). In the 1980s, he began to liberate video from television and other instruments, and then projected it on sculpture, mirrors, park trees and other media, creating a new art form, so he is also known as the “father of video sculpture”.
Feeling: Tony’s work explores the paradoxes of normal human behavior and the relationship between technology and humans, as a series of erratic images emerge from the video, roaring or twittering, like a ghost channel on television.
At first his narrative approach was unique: he was describing a metaphorical dream rather than trying to tell a story. He covers a wide range of subjects, including political and cultural violence, moral standards, life and death, and adolescent mental illness. “The images in the video interact, and so do the ideas that are poetically attached to them. Each work is my reflection on the relationship between people and the existential struggle that it implies. The Shouting and whispering in the video show the relationship between people, and I invite the audience to come into my mind.”
The theme of the creation was always in Tony’s mind, but he found that the video framed on the TV was not quite what he wanted. He has been reflecting on his relationship with television. His goal was to mimic a technology so that it could be viewed directly as an extension of the mental state.” Therefore, he chose to project his video works into video installations.
At the same time, the artist wondered whether this was the result of abnormal human relations in the United States. Or is it a product of a society that is so exposed in the media and energized by pop culture? Since then, Tony began to use projection device transformation to tell a dream. He began to try more forms of expression. In the installation of Reflection in 1996, he used mirrors, a medium that was ambiguous in both practical and symbolic meanings, which brought a stronger sense of weirdness to the work. He constantly changed the materials and shapes of the projectiles to make them more suitable for the subject. In 2009’s “Cigarettes Searches,” he shows Cigarettes burning on a bar background. In recent years, he has even removed the actor’s face from his videos, leaving only a pair of eyes, or a mouth. Big eyes have become the most visible symbol of Tony’s work, as the eyes flicker uneasily Or sediously from the grotesquely shaped sculptures in Metro Pictures (2003) and Super Pop Or Not (2010).
Jan Svankmajer

Jan Svankmajer is a director and screenwriter. When he was a student, he was fond of surrealism art, studied traditional European puppet shows, and dabred in stage, poetry creation, film and other artistic fields. There is no limit to the forms and materials: bread, wood, pottery and even actors can also be used as animation materials and elements.
Feelings: Watching his animated films is nothing but “direct” and “naked” interest.The so-called directness, which comes from the ubiquitous mysticism and surrealism in his animations, is expressed in the simplest and most economical way, completely abandoning the tricks and routines of Hollywood. It is called naked because Schneider’s animations often take the animality of human beings as the object, showing the unconscious desires of the human soul world — sexual desire, fetishism, oral syndromes. Looking coldly on the artificial traces of modern film language or narrative skills and the implicit, introverted and delicate expression, Jan is more creative to restore the original form of film with farce.

Mary Ellen Mark is a photographer from Pennsylvania, USA. She is an exceptional still-photographer, taking thousands of behind-the-scenes shots. In addition, she also works on the streets, documentary, portrait photography. Speaking of photography, she has said that she prefers “clean and clear” images, clear, direct and real, without gimmicks, complexity and post-production. Even the image has no post-production, everything is done by light.
As a documentary female photographer, truth and clarity are always the standards of Ellen Mark. Prostitutes, psychopaths, circus workers, many marginal characters and subjects are always her concern, with extraordinary courage to witness the shocking social and human nature. “I rely more on intuition and instinct… I always want to shoot great works that are real and powerful.”

W. Eugene Smith (1918-1978) was a famous American photographer. His works are both highly artistic and documentary, deeply depicting human birth, death, compassion, suffering, hope and other themes. He created some of the most solemn and powerful pictures of war in the history of photography. Smith pioneered the “photo essay,” a series of photographs that focus on a social issue to draw attention to it.He was also one of the first photographers to use this form of narrative.
What it feels like: Smith’s photographs are intensely dramatic and human. He is one of those desperate, single-minded artists who are truly crazy. He works like crazy and can go without sleep for 48 hours. He always wanted to arouse human compassion through his works and prevent suffering from happening again. Through photography, he was seeking the ideal of reality in human society.

After conducting the research, I immediately selected a small video on TikTok for secondary creation. As usual, I did a simple research on this video, sorted out its length, category and what I wanted to express. Because I wanted to imitate Tony’s shooting technique, I deliberately chose a projection. I selected a projection screen, shot two figure statues, and then froze the picture on one picture. After the shooting, I planned to place the head of the figure on it and dub it.
But in the end that idea was rejected, and I couldn’t borrow two projectors so I couldn’t get them to be placed on the projector smoothly. I also tried using just voice acting, but it just didn’t work for me. So I chose to give it up and start over. And I also researched and did more story shooting and writing, which I will post in the next blog.
The first screenplay written for a story
n this process, because I have a particular fondness for non-human relationships, the characters I selected were supernatural creatures. So I researched two more dark animations to lay the groundwork for my shooting and script writing.
